Arrabiata Pasta Starter Dinner Pack (Serves 4)

A starter kit to help you make a simple tasty pasta for dinner. You bring the dry pasta, we supply everything else. See below for the recipe! Serves 4 at $9 per serve.

Pack Contains:

1 x Sal's Arrabiata Pasta Sauce 500mL

1 x Cured Handmade Chorizo 160g

1 x Rosnay Organic Kalamata Olives 375g

Recipe Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 400g dried pasta (such as penne or spaghetti) or approximately 2 handfuls per person
  • 2 cups arrabiata sauce
  • 160g chorizo, sliced
  • 1 cup kalamata olives
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the dried pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Chorizo and Olives:

    • While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
    • Add the sliced chorizo and cook for 4-5 minutes until it starts to brown and release its oils.
    • If using, add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Combine Ingredients:

    • Add the arrabiata sauce to the skillet with the chorizo and stir well to combine.
    • Add the kalamata olives and cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  4. Mix with Pasta:

    • Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  5. Season and Serve:

    • Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed.
    • Serve the pasta in bowls and, if desired, top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
