The whole fig is preserved and ready to serve on cheese platters, in cakes and desserts, on pizza with prosciutto or simply dolloped on crusty bread with a squeeze of lemon for pure indulgence. The spicy syrup can be drizzled on desserts, or brushed on spare ribs.
