Greentrees Gourmet Preserves began as the first Bed and Breakfast in the Orange City Council area in 1993. Our journey into the world of gourmet preserves started with a single batch of homemade blackberry jam, which impressed on of our first guests, the Manager of the Orange Visitor Information Centre (OVIC). He loved it so much he asked to sell it and other products at the OVIC, so of course I said yes. The OVIC became Greentrees Gourmet Preserves first retail outlet, and remain a valued customer to this day.

Joining the Food of Orange District in 1995 and participating in that years FOOD Affair, we were started on the path of local and regional markets. Our presence at these markets, including the Orange Farmers’ Market, has cemented our reputation for quality and authenticity for over 22 years. Demand continued to grow for our beautifully preserved local fruit and a corresponding growth in authentic, old-fashioned food (like grandma used to make), including jams, jellies, marmalades, pickles, chutneys, relishes, sauces, butters, and pastes.

To share our passion, we introduced preserving classes in 2016. These classes, held in our workshop kitchen and other local venues, allow enthusiasts to learn the art of preserving. With over two decades of experience, we are proud to continue providing delicious jams and preserves throughout Molong and beyond.
