Fresh Fig & Ginger Jam (250g)

This popular combination is made from local Black Genoa figs and grated fresh ginger, with 30% less sugar. The result is a balance of the unique delicate flavour of figs with the familiar bite of ginger and just a hint of orange. 

As many post- war families had a fig tree in the back yard, this makes a perfect gift for the older Australian.

Works beautifully as a baking or serving syrup with pears or quinces.

Ingredients: fresh local figs, sugar, fresh orange & lemon juice, grated fresh ginger.
